Sura 1028 versesRevelation order 16التكاثر

  1. بِسمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحمٰنِ الرَّحيمِ

    In the name of God, Most Gracious, Most Merciful

  2. أَلهىٰكُمُ التَّكاثُرُ

    You remain preoccupied with hoarding.

  3. حَتّىٰ زُرتُمُ المَقابِرَ

    Until you go to the graves.

  4. كَلّا سَوفَ تَعلَمونَ

    Indeed, you will find out.

  5. ثُمَّ كَلّا سَوفَ تَعلَمونَ

    Most assuredly, you will find out.

  6. كَلّا لَو تَعلَمونَ عِلمَ اليَقينِ

    If only you could find out for certain.

  7. لَتَرَوُنَّ الجَحيمَ

    You would envision Hell.

  8. ثُمَّ لَتَرَوُنَّها عَينَ اليَقينِ

    Then you would see it with the eye of certainty.

    Then you will be questioned, on that day, about the blessings you had enjoyed.
