Sura 8425 versesRevelation order 83الإنشقاق

  1. بِسمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحمٰنِ الرَّحيمِ

    In the name of God, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
  2. إِذَا السَّماءُ انشَقَّت

    The time will come when the sky is ruptured.

  3. وَأَذِنَت لِرَبِّها وَحُقَّت

    It will submit to its Lord and expire.

  4. وَإِذَا الأَرضُ مُدَّت

    The earth will be leveled.

  5. وَأَلقَت ما فيها وَتَخَلَّت

    It will eject its contents, as it erupts.

  6. وَأَذِنَت لِرَبِّها وَحُقَّت

    It will submit to its Lord and expire.

  7. يٰأَيُّهَا الإِنسٰنُ إِنَّكَ كادِحٌ إِلىٰ رَبِّكَ كَدحًا فَمُلٰقيهِ

    O humans, you are irreversibly heading for a meeting with your Lord.

  8. فَأَمّا مَن أوتِىَ كِتٰبَهُ بِيَمينِهِ

    As for the one who receives his record in his right hand,

  9. فَسَوفَ يُحاسَبُ حِسابًا يَسيرًا

    His reckoning will be easy.

  10. وَيَنقَلِبُ إِلىٰ أَهلِهِ مَسرورًا

    He will return to his people joyfully.

  11. وَأَمّا مَن أوتِىَ كِتٰبَهُ وَراءَ ظَهرِهِ

    As for the one who receives his record behind his back,

    He will be ridden with remorse.

    And will burn in Hell.

    He used to act arrogantly among his people.

  15. إِنَّهُ ظَنَّ أَن لَن يَحورَ

    He thought that he will never be called to account.

  16. بَلىٰ إِنَّ رَبَّهُ كانَ بِهِ بَصيرًا

    Yes indeed, his Lord was Seer of him.

  17. فَلا أُقسِمُ بِالشَّفَقِ

    I solemnly swear by the rosy dusk.

  18. وَالَّيلِ وَما وَسَقَ

    And the night as it spreads.

    You will move from stage to stage.

  21. فَما لَهُم لا يُؤمِنونَ

    Why do they not believe?

  22. وَإِذا قُرِئَ عَلَيهِمُ القُرءانُ لا يَسجُدونَ

    And when the Quran is recited to them, they do not fall prostrate.

  23. بَلِ الَّذينَ كَفَروا يُكَذِّبونَ

    This is because those who disbelieved are rejecting (the Quran).

  24. وَاللَّهُ أَعلَمُ بِما يوعونَ

    GOD is fully aware of their innermost thoughts.

  25. فَبَشِّرهُم بِعَذابٍ أَليمٍ

    Promise them painful retribution.
  26. إِلَّا الَّذينَ ءامَنوا وَعَمِلُوا الصّٰلِحٰتِ لَهُم أَجرٌ غَيرُ مَمنونٍ

    As for those who believed and led a righteous life, they receive a recompense that is well-deserved.
