The Most High
بِسمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحمٰنِ الرَّحيمِ
In the name of God, Most Gracious, Most Mercifulسَبِّحِ اسمَ رَبِّكَ الأَعلَى
Glorify the name of your Lord, the Most High.3
الَّذى خَلَقَ فَسَوّىٰ
He creates and shapes.وَالَّذى قَدَّرَ فَهَدىٰ
He designs and guides.2

وَالَّذى أَخرَجَ المَرعىٰ
He produces the pasture.1

فَجَعَلَهُ غُثاءً أَحوىٰ
Then turns it into light hay.1
Subject indexHay
سَنُقرِئُكَ فَلا تَنسىٰ
We will recite to you; do not forget.إِلّا ما شاءَ اللَّهُ ۚ إِنَّهُ يَعلَمُ الجَهرَ وَما يَخفىٰ
Everything is in accordance with GOD's will; He knows what is declared, and what is hidden.وَنُيَسِّرُكَ لِليُسرىٰ
We will direct you to the easiest path.2
Subject indexEasy › pathPath, of God › guiding to
وَيَتَجَنَّبُهَا الأَشقَى
The wicked will avoid it.الَّذى يَصلَى النّارَ الكُبرىٰ
Consequently, he will suffer the great Hellfire.2

ثُمَّ لا يَموتُ فيها وَلا يَحيىٰ
Wherein he never dies, nor stays alive.1

قَد أَفلَحَ مَن تَزَكّىٰ
Successful indeed is the one who redeems his soul.3
Subject indexRedeemSouls › forgivenWinners
وَذَكَرَ اسمَ رَبِّهِ فَصَلّىٰ
By remembering the name of his Lord and observing the contact prayers (Salat).بَل تُؤثِرونَ الحَيوٰةَ الدُّنيا
Indeed, you are preoccupied with this first life.3

وَالءاخِرَةُ خَيرٌ وَأَبقىٰ
Even though the Hereafter is far better and everlasting.إِنَّ هٰذا لَفِى الصُّحُفِ الأولىٰ
This is recorded in the earlier teachings.صُحُفِ إِبرٰهيمَ وَموسىٰ
The teachings of Abraham and Moses.
