Resurrection
بِسمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحمٰنِ الرَّحيمِ
In the name of God, Most Gracious, Most Mercifulلا أُقسِمُ بِيَومِ القِيٰمَةِ
I swear by the Day of Resurrection.Cited in

وَلا أُقسِمُ بِالنَّفسِ اللَّوّامَةِ
And I swear by the blaming soul.Cited in

أَيَحسَبُ الإِنسٰنُ أَلَّن نَجمَعَ عِظامَهُ
Does the human being think that we will not reconstruct his bones?Cited in

بَلىٰ قٰدِرينَ عَلىٰ أَن نُسَوِّىَ بَنانَهُ
Yes indeed; we are able to reconstruct his finger tip.Cited in

بَل يُريدُ الإِنسٰنُ لِيَفجُرَ أَمامَهُ
But the human being tends to believe only what he sees in front of him.Cited in

يَسـَٔلُ أَيّانَ يَومُ القِيٰمَةِ
He doubts the Day of Resurrection!فَإِذا بَرِقَ البَصَرُ
Once the vision is sharpened.Cited in

وَخَسَفَ القَمَرُ
And the moon is eclipsed.وَجُمِعَ الشَّمسُ وَالقَمَرُ
And the sun and the moon crash into one another.Cited in

يَقولُ الإِنسٰنُ يَومَئِذٍ أَينَ المَفَرُّ
The human being will say on that day, "Where is the escape?"Cited in

كَلّا لا وَزَرَ
Absolutely, there is no escape.Cited in

إِلىٰ رَبِّكَ يَومَئِذٍ المُستَقَرُّ
To your Lord, on that day, is the final destiny.Cited in

يُنَبَّؤُا۟ الإِنسٰنُ يَومَئِذٍ بِما قَدَّمَ وَأَخَّرَ
The human being will be informed, on that day, of everything he did to advance himself, and everything he did to regress himself.Cited in

بَلِ الإِنسٰنُ عَلىٰ نَفسِهِ بَصيرَةٌ
The human being will be his own judge.Cited in

Muhammad Forbidden from Explaining the Quran
لا تُحَرِّك بِهِ لِسانَكَ لِتَعجَلَ بِهِ
Do not move your tongue to hasten it.Cited in
إِنَّ عَلَينا جَمعَهُ وَقُرءانَهُ
It is we who will collect it into Quran.Cited in

Looking at their Lord.وَوُجوهٌ يَومَئِذٍ باسِرَةٌ
Other faces will be, on that day, miserable.Cited in

تَظُنُّ أَن يُفعَلَ بِها فاقِرَةٌ
Expecting the worst.كَلّا إِذا بَلَغَتِ التَّراقِىَ
Indeed, when (the soul) reaches the throat.Cited in
وَقيلَ مَن ۜ راقٍ
And it is ordered: "Let go!"Cited in

وَظَنَّ أَنَّهُ الفِراقُ
He knows it is the end.Cited in

Each leg will lay motionless next to the other leg.Cited in

إِلىٰ رَبِّكَ يَومَئِذٍ المَساقُ

فَلا صَدَّقَ وَلا صَلّىٰ
For he observed neither the charity, nor the contact prayers (Salat).وَلٰكِن كَذَّبَ وَتَوَلّىٰ

ثُمَّ ذَهَبَ إِلىٰ أَهلِهِ يَتَمَطّىٰ
With his family, he acted arrogantly.Cited in

أَيَحسَبُ الإِنسٰنُ أَن يُترَكَ سُدًى
Does the human being think that he will go to nothing?Cited in

أَلَم يَكُ نُطفَةً مِن مَنِىٍّ يُمنىٰ
Was he not a drop of ejected semen?Cited in

ثُمَّ كانَ عَلَقَةً فَخَلَقَ فَسَوّىٰ
Then He created an embryo out of it!Cited in
